How it works
Open or paste a CSV, look through it with search, filters and sorting, then clean it up: trim spaces, remove duplicate rows, find and replace, split or combine columns, rename columns and change date formats. Every change is previewed before it is applied, and can be undone.
Formats and limits
In: CSV, TSV or text with commas, semicolons, tabs or pipes, as UTF-8 or Windows-1252. Out: CSV with your choice of separator, or JSON.
Up to 50 MB, 500,000 rows and 200 columns. Tested with 200,000 rows of 5 columns; very large files need a computer with plenty of memory.
Good to know
Every value is kept exactly as text: leading zeros, blanks, 0 and FALSE stay as they are unless you change them. Nothing is turned into a number or a date unless you ask.
An optional safe export stops values that start with =, +, - or @ being run as formulas when the file is opened in a spreadsheet.
Your privacy
The files you choose are opened in your browser and are not uploaded. There are no accounts, adverts or tracking scripts.
